Real Estate gains were recorded in 60 per cent of the total Canadian Real Estate markets.
Price index gains were reported as follows:
- Regina up 14.2 per cent
- Greater Toronto up.7 per cent
- Greater Montreal up 2.2 per cent
- Greater Vancouver down 0.8 per cent
The latest data from the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) showed average resale home prices increased but slightly compared to a year ago.
Calgary and Quebec City were the only two cities were new resale home listings declined.
Vancouver continues to influence the national average home price and sales figures when compared to last year. Last year those figures were bot higher and this year lower compared to the other Canadian Real Estate markets.
The CREA MLS Home Price Index rose 3.9 per cent year over year for September showing the latest Canadian home resale price trends.
